Scripture Reading 1: Psalm 68: 1-10, 32-35<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 God shall arise, his enemies shall be scattered; and those who hate him shall flee before him!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 As smoke is driven away, so you shall drive them away; as wax melts before fire, so the wicked shall perish before God!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3 But the righteous shall be glad; they shall exult before God; they shall be jubilant with joy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4 Sing to God, sing praises to his name; lift up a song to him who rides through the deserts; his name is the Lord; exult before him!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5 Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4:14 If you are reviled for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the spirit of glory, which is the Spirit of God, is resting on you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, so that he may exalt you in due time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5:8 Discipline yourselves, keep alert. Like a roaring lion your adversary the devil prowls around, looking for someone to devour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5:9 Resist him, steadfast in your faith, for you know that your brothers and sisters in all the world are undergoing the same kinds of suffering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5:10 And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, support, strengthen, and establish you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
