Fostering community
The Congregational Life Committee works on creating an inviting environment and fostering supportive friendships in the congregation through social events and activities.
We establish and support hospitality teams to plan and host potlucks and Sunday-afternoon home lunches throughout the year, organize a “Guess Who is Coming to Dinner” mixer event annually, assist when special hospitality needs arise, organize logistics for an annual retreat at Silver Lake Mennonite Camp, and brainstorm for new ideas for to encourage congregational hospitality.
